The final group games are coming up this week in both the Champions League and Europa League, with it still possible that all eight British sides competing could qualify for the knock-out stages.
However, some sides have it much easier than other. Several British sides have already secured their place in the next round, whilst for others, their qualification could depend on the result of the opposite fixture in their group.
Ahead of the final round of the group stage in the Champions League and Europa League, we take a look at the results each British side needs to qualify for the knock-out rounds…
Manchester City - Champions League
Manchester City have already secured their place in the knock-out stages and will top their group if they avoid defeat at home to Hoffenheim.
Manchester United - Champions League
United have also already secured their place in the next round. United will top the group if they beat Valencia and Juventus lose to Young Boys. Any other results and they will finish runners-up in the group.
Tottenham - Champions League
Barcelona have already secured their top place finish in Group B but Spurs can still make it through to the round of 16. Spurs will qualify for the knock-out stages if their result at Barcelona matches or betters Inter Milan’s result at home to PSV Eindhoven.
Liverpool - Champions League
The Reds have to win against Napoli to have any hope at all of making it through to the knock-out rounds. If Liverpool win and PSG lose to Red Star Belgrade, then Liverpool will go through. Liverpool will top the group in this scenario with a 1-0 win over Napoli or if they win by two or more goals. If PSG draw at Red Star and Liverpool beat Napoli, then Liverpool will top the group, regardless of the scoreline at Anfield. However, if PSG win in Belgrade as expected, Liverpool will need to beat Napoli either 1-0 or by two clear goals if the Italians score.
Arsenal - Europa League
Arsenal have already qualified as group winners.
Chelsea - Europa League
Chelsea have already qualified as group winners.
Celtic - Europa League
Celtic will finish runners-up in their group if they avoid defeat to Red Bull Salzburg. However, if RB Leipzig fail to beat Rosenborg, then Celtic will qualify regardless of their result against Salzburg. If Celtic lose and RB Leipzig win, Celtic will be eliminated.
Rangers - Europa League
Rangers must win their final group match away at Rapid Vienna to qualify for the knock-out stages in the runners-up spot.
