European football returns this week as Champions League and Europa League action is set to resume in the coming days. There are still seven British sides competing in Europe, with four in the Champions League and three in the Europa League. But what is their form like heading into these crucial games? Here is a look at the form guide for each tie…

Manchester City
Manchester City come into their clash with Schalke having won nine of their last ten games in all competitions. Pep Guardiola’s men faltered away to Newcastle in January, a 2-1 defeat, but did beat Chelsea 6-0 in their last Premier League outing. Manchester City also topped their Champions League group, winning four of their six matches.

Schalke
Schalke come into the game with four wins in their last ten matches in all competitions. The German outfit lost 3-1 to Bayern Munich last weekend, their fourth loss in ten. They finished second in their Champions League group, with three wins, two draws and one defeat.

Liverpool
Liverpool come into their clash with Bayern Munich with six wins in their last ten games. Jurgen Klopp’s men have drawn with West Ham and Leicester and lost to Manchester City and Wolves since the turn of the year. Liverpool finished second to PSG in their Champions League group, with three wins and three defeats.

Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich, meanwhile, come into the clash with eight wins in their last ten games. The only games they failed to win were a draw with Ajax in the Champions League and a 3-1 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen last week. Bayern topped their Champions League group with four wins and two draws.

Tottenham
Tottenham face Borussia Dortmund having won seven of their last ten matches in all competitions. Spurs dropped out of the FA Cup and League Cup to Crystal Palace and Chelsea respectively, as well as losing to Manchester United in the Premier League. They finished second to Barcelona in their Champions League group with two draws, two wins and two defeats.

Borussia Dortmund
Dortmund head into their game with Tottenham having won six of their last ten games in all competitions. The Bundesliga table-toppers lost to Fortuna in the league and were held to draws with Hoffenheim and Frankfurt. They also lost to Werder Bremen in the DFB Cup. Dortmund topped their Champions League group with four wins, one draw and one defeat.

Manchester United
Manchester United go into their game against PSG on a sensational run of form. The Red Devils have won nine of their last ten matches in all competitions, with a draw against Burnley the only result that stopped them from having a 100% record. They finished second to Juventus in their Champions League group, with three wins, one draw and two defeats, but that was all under the management of Jose Mourinho.

Paris St-Germain
PSG come into the clash with seven wins in their last ten, including a shock 2-1 defeat to Guingamp in the Coupe de la Ligue. They did, however, go on to beat Guingamp 9-0 in the league a matter of weeks later. PSG topped their Champions League group with three wins, two draws and a defeat.

Arsenal
Arsenal come into their Europa League clash with BATE in fairly uninspiring form, with just five wins in their last ten games. The Gunners lost to Manchester City, West Ham, Liverpool and Manchester United, as well as being held to a draw against Brighton. Arsenal topped their Europa League group with five wins and a draw.

BATE
BATE come into the game having won seven of their last ten matches in all competitions. One of their two losses in their last ten came against Premier League side Chelsea. BATE finished second to the Blues in their Europa League group with three wins and three defeats.

Chelsea
Chelsea head into their clash with Malmo having won five of their last ten matches in all competitions. The Blues are currently enduring a tough run of form, with ten goals conceded in their last two away games – the most recent of which was a 6-0 loss to Manchester City in the Premier League. The Blues did, however, top their Europa League group unbeaten, with five wins and one draw.

Malmo
Malmo, meanwhile, face Chelsea with six wins in their last ten matches. Their most impressive win was a 1-0 victory away to Besiktas in the Europa League back in December. They finished second in their Europa League group, with two wins, three draws and one defeat.

Celtic
Celtic go into their clash with Valencia in almost faultless form. The Hoops have won nine of their last ten matches and are yet to concede a goal in 2019. Their only defeat came to Rangers, 1-0, at the end of December. Brendan Rodgers’ side finished second in their Europa League group, with three wins and three draws.

Valencia
Valencia come into the clash with only four wins in their last ten games, the worst return of any side on this list. The Spanish outfit did, however, manage a 2-2 draw against Barcelona earlier this month. Valencia dropped into the Europa League after they finished behind Manchester United and Juventus in their Champions League group, with two wins, two draws and two defeats.
